Bye bye mirena

Hi ladies,

Just sharing my experience. Since having an IUD fitted during surgery in November I have still gotten my period every subsequent month and everytime I have ended up in A and E and the first time was brought by ambulance and admitted for 3 days. Last emergency admission saw the IUD come out (two days ago) and I'm already seeing my period pain reduce enormously. Trouble is the muscle aches and pains I had before progesterone treatment are all back. Does anyone else experience the aches and pains in muscles? Any relief from progesterone treatment? I'm trying to work out if the iud has been keeping it under control.
