What happens if you have just this injection and no tablet along the side? For example I have Tibolone but haven't been taking it because of the side effects..

Hi

I had a monthly zoladex injection for 3 months with know HRT to go along side it, it was a nightmare as well as having to deal with the affects of going from feeling so low to being so happy I had hot flushes every 15 minutes, I'm at the stage now that I've had my laparoscopy for excised endometriosis which hasn't worked, I fought to re-start a pill that was taken away from me after a DVT and that hasn't worked the same way it did 6yrs ago, I know the consultant wants me to go back on zoladex but with HRT this time but unfortunately my marriage is worth more x

Yeah I stopped the Tibolone a while back but just wanted to ensure nothing sinister isn't happening as a result. I have less symptoms now off the Tibolone as I was loosing my hair etc. I'm better off off the Tibolone anyway. Hope it works out for you anyway!!! Sounds like a nightmare x

Hey. I had zoladeX for 6 months with no hrt. As I've stated on it for more than 6 months they've given me hrt (livial). The risk of osteoporosis is increased without the hrt. May be worth speaking to dr to see if you need the hrt and if so if there's another you can try? X

They were only doing it as a trial to begin with but I am only 19 so too young I went mad. Only allowed on it over 23 xxx

That's interesting. The leaflets all say 18. I hope they manage to sort out something else for you. If it was a trial and you've only had one injection I doubt not having the hrt tablet would have done you any harm. X

I believe you. I genuinely meant that I found it interesting about the age, I wasn't challenging what you said about it being 23. Both are very young for the menopause (I'm in my 20s myself).

Sorry I'm so used to people thinking I am making it up 😔 so I'm sorry! Yeah I know. I have never even seen a leaflet for endo! That's how unknown it is it angers me so so much xxx
