Help? Pain after lap/hysterscopy

Hi ladies! I had a laparscopy, hysterscopy and insertion of mirena coil on Tuesday morning (4 1/2 days ago) - I have a bicornate/retroverted uterus, a distended bowel and no endo. They discharged me from hospital the same day with little to no info about aftercare. In hospital I had really bad cramping (Like periods but way worse) but they said that was normal right after.

I've been back home for a few days and the pain seems to be getting worse, my whole vagina feels swollen inside (Sorry for tmi!) my stomach muscles are sore but the worst of it is the cramping pains (They're in my uterus and are constantly cramping) - I'm not really bleeding just slightly spotting and I'm taking tramadol/paracetamol and ibuprofen for the pain and it's not touching it at all. Is this normal? Normally if my pains are this bad I'm bleeding a hell of a lot so I'm a little worried as I don't know what to expect.

Hi I'm sorry you're feeling so terrible, it could be the coil I know when I had one I had really painful urtirine cramps for days after and I had to stay in bed. You could always call 111 or the ward you were on would be good to speak to a GP seeing that you've not long had surgery... they are useless with there 'aftercare' I hope you feel better soon X
