First Laproscopy Tomorrow.

Hi Ladies, tomorrow will be my first Laproscopy and treatment if required, does anyone have Fibroymalgia on here and that has had a Laproscopy, I'm just nervous because of the pain ill be In after, wondering how long it will take to recover after. Feeling anxious, not had an operation before.

Hi good luck for tomorrow, the main pain afterwards is trapped wind in the shoulder area from all the gas that is really uncomfortable hope it goes ok for you x

Hi Joely21, thanks, will let you know how I get on, yes not looking forward to the trapped wind, been hearing a lot of stories about it xx

It's uncomfortable but as long as you take your time and do the resting you need hopefully it will go well good luck keep me posted x

I'm about to have my laparoscopy on Monday - I also have Fibro and ME/CFS. Also nervous - I guess we will just have to make sure we rest as much as poss beforehand and after and be patient. I'm feeling exactly the same re recovery - I've been feeling a little better recently wrt ME energy and worried that this will set me back. Good luck!
