Endo and leg tingling

I'm 26 and had my endometriosis lasered 4 years ago, my gp suspects this has now recurred as I am getting a lot of pain and bloating again. Has anyone suffered from tingling (odd sensation to be honest) in left leg and foot, which is mainly when feet are up (lying down)

Thanks in advance for any advice

Hi,

I also have endometriosis and i have endometriomas 2 and I was getting the same sensation you are describing and I was told from my Dr the endometriomas were probably touching a nerve and i felt the tingling down my legs it kinda felt like little shocks.

Hi. Yes to leg tingling and even stomach some days. A friend if mine with endometriosis also has tingling even though all doctors have said it's no way down to endometriosis. Funny that I only get it during a flare up. I've given up trying to fight them on this one.

I had all sorts of strange sensations and pains in my legs and feet before I had a 10cm endometrioma removed. My consultant said something must have been touching a nerve. I still occasionally get pains / tingling.

Hi,

I used to get this horribly and it got to the point I couldn't sleep at night because they would tingle and just feel so uncomfortable and another lady on here suggested to start taking b12 vitamins and they worked like a miracle! Since taking them I never really get the tingling feeling and if I do it's so minimal and hardly lasts at all. I'd highly recommend you try that :)

So random that I've just happened across this post as I've had this awful feeling in my left foot AAAALLLLLL DAY today and it's been driving me nuts. It's almost aching from it now. I'll try the B vitamins too then if it seems to work. Thanks

I also get strange pain/sensation is my left leg. I believe this is quite a common symptom, depending on where your endo is

I have endo and, as I get closer to the time of month, I get terrible pain in my right abdomen, back and right leg. I am told this is a key sin of endo and typical. If it is only the odd tingling, still have it checked out. I find that stretching my legs and exercise generally especially yoga and pilates really help me. I have been diagnosed since 2012 but never had surgery as, after 2 c- sections, I know I do not do surgery well. My body cannot take it. As such, I've been on western medicine (zoladex and provera) with huge side effects. I have decided to manage mine with exercise where possible and herbal remedies as well as regular, even if not daily, juicing of veg and fruit. I wish you all th every best in your management of this awful condition.

It feels like sciatica almost but without the bad back. Very strange! I do regular exercise and eat relatively healthy. I have also had two c-sections and one laparoscopy x

Hi. I read you had two c sections. I know this is old post so I hope you still on this chat. I know my body doesn't go well with surgerys, had 2 sections too. May I ask how did you get dignosed endometriosis and as I have all the symptoms I had UBS since 19yrs. Psi full sec 2 sections were I've scared very bad! I'm 35 yrs now. I have severe pain before my periods during and after I get tiggling now back on my legs and so very tired all the time. And just feel unwell most the time. I had TB13 years back so alwYs thought it could be meds I took then. I'm unsure what to do and go to the doctors. Thankyou

Vitamin B really helps and magnesium. A pillow under your knees will help when you're sleeping! Also gentle stretches daily also help. If it is all the time ask for a transvaginal scan to check it's not a cyst pressing on something x

Thanks. I had a normal ultrasound last week to check for ovarian cysts. Will try the pillows tonight as in desperate need of sleep. Feels heavy and burning when walking now x

Try a warm bath with bath salts if you can before bed.I also found volterol gel helped rubbed on hip and thighs. You can also put pillow inbetween legs if sleeping on a side. Good luck with sleep!

Oh yes! Right to the toes! I looked at the sciatica diagrams online and it followed the S1 path perfectly. My guess is when there is inflammation it presses on a nerve?

I have had awful flare-ups in my legs and feet every time I’m on my period for the past fifteen years. It has got a lot worse in the past few years. It is especially bad in my left foot, which goes almost completely numb. This is accompanied by excruciating cramps in my toes and stabbing pains in the balls of my feet. I have to rotate my ankle and wiggle and stretch out my toes almost nonstop if there is to be any relief whatsoever.

I haven’t been diagnosed but suspect I may have endo.... this sounds quite familiar. Often get restless legs when trying to sleep in particular, left is worse than right. Moving toes and rotating ankle helps provide some relief but it’s a dull ache that sometimes stretches to my hip, buttock, and groin or lower back. Occasionally get pins and needles feeling but this is more rare. It’s interesting to read your post as a lot of the symptoms seem to match up.
