Clotted period blood

Is it endo related to have dark clotted period, I've noticed it more in the last 6 months than before. I'm on micrigyne 30 pill which I've been on for 9 years. Any suggestions ? X

My doctor told me dark blood is 'old' blood. Which basically means its going through your 'system' slowly or its blood from right at the beginning of your period which is darker by the time it eventually comes out or blood left over from your previous period. I think some people just shed blood/lining more slowly through their bodies than others and pretty normal. I'm sure I havent explained this very well!
