Can someone help me?

Okay so I am a 14 year old girl and I havent had my period. All of yesturday I had really pains that would come and go. Since then I have noticed blood whenever I seem to go to the bathroom and there is a lot! This morning I woke up to blood in my pants so I went to the bathroom and peed. I look to see if anything was wrong and there were blood bits floating around the toilet water and then when I wiped, there was bright red blood and bits of brown. There is also a lot of blood on the toilet paper. I need help because I'm not sure what to do and what is happening! Can someone help me?

Can you speak to your mum or an older sister/female relative? When you have your period at first it can be quite heavy and be red/brown. You can also get some crampy pains, but you should be able to go about day to day activities. It doesn't mean you have endometriosis, it's normal to bleed and have mild cramps. Make sure you have sanitary wear - always are good, you can try different sorts of pads. If your tummy is sore get a hot water bottle and cuddle into it. Please have a chat with someone, you'll feel so much better x

This sounds to me like it could be normal for a period and not something you need to panic about. There can appear to be a lot of blood, and the color can range from red to brown. However, I agree with applebird that it would be a good idea to talk to someone you feel comfortable with about it.
