Pain well into the menopause!

Hello all. Some advice please. I was diagnosed with endo at age 19. I had 4 major operations and many many hormone drugs. When I hit the menopause at age 40, I thought all my problems were over. Not so!

I've been told my endometrium is 7.8mm. That has been that way for over a year now. I've been advised that could be to do with my endo past.It hasn't gotten any thicker, so I'm happy to just keep my eye on it.

My problem now is pain! When the nurse did a vaginal scan, I was in so much pain. I am very used to such procedures and am normally very relaxed. But the last 4 or 5 have been so painful. Very uncomfortable and very like period pain. The nurse said I have a very sensitive cervix.

Any thoughts on this? I don't want to be ignoring something that isn't right!
