Hi all had my pre-op today. Had all the normal pre op stuff which a nurse did, but they said I haven't signed any consent forms so I need another appointment to come back and do them! I asked why I couldn't do them today as I thought that was what a pre op was for but she said it has to be done with a doctor. So now the op has to be pushed back further I feel so disappointed and frustrated. Has this happened to anyone else? And how long did the appointment take to sign consent forms?

Hi when I had my lap in July I signed the consent forms on the day of op.
That does not sound right at all. I had an appointment to discuss my scan results and they decided there and then to operate and i signed the forms there and then. Id find out who the consultants secretary is n make a nuisance of yourself x
