Morphine patches do they work

Hi,

Has anyone tried morphine patches for Endo pain?

I've had it on for a week now, and my symptoms are feeling nauseous, dizziness, headaches, loss of appetite. It's working for my back pains but not for bladder pains that's where the Endo is.

I'm wondering if it's worked on anyone.

Sweety.

Hi sweety, give it time and the morphine will kick in, unfortunately I found the side effects too much with the nausea and dizziness so only kept mine on for 3 weeks and now just living with the pain until my op which I hope to be soon 😔

Good luck x

Hi, thank you for replying to me.

I will give it some time and see if it works.

I hope you get some pain relief from your op. When are you having your op?

Hi, have my pre op Feb 15th 😁 Hoping op will be not long after. Am having full hysterectomy and removal of endo all over including bowel. Am a little scared but know I have no choice 😔

What's the next step for u? X

I had hystercretomy done 3 years ago but kept both of my ovaries. My Endo still came back. Is having Hystercretomy your choice?

I'm due to have Zoledex injections for 3 months to see if it helps with Endo, otherwise it will be yet another operation for me which I'm trying to avoid.

My bones are thinning, becoming weaker due to Endo and not eating much for the past 6 years. My adhesions are back too.

Good luck with your op, hope everything works out for you.

Hi sweety, not in all honesty my decision but I know the consultant is right in his thinking. I had zoladex after my last lap in Oct and it didn't work for me but everyone is different. How long u had this awful endo? X

Only you know if it's the right choice. It's your body. I wasn't given a choice, I was told by the doc that, that is the only cure. Had I known I never would have gotten it done as I wanted more children.

I've had Endo for 7 years now, I've had numerous operations, been on numerous medications nothing seems to help.

How long have you had Endo?

So u had a hysterectomy 😔? How old r u if u don't mind me asking? I have had 5 laps over 6 years so hystetectomy is last resort 🙈 Does scare me though xx

I'm 39yrs old will be 40 in two months time.

I've had 5 ops in 6 years I know I'll end up having another one, but I want to hold that off if possible.

Having any kind of op is scary, I always panic and start crying just before they put me to sleep, a week before any op that I have I get major OCD, I can't sit, sleep or eat anything, everything has to be cleaned and put in order😬
