Ultrasound and internal tomorrow

After 2 years of on and off symptons finally tomorrow I have been reffered to have an ultrasound and internal but ... I've not had any symptoms for over a month now. Typical !! Making me wander if it is even endo

Good morning... Your bound to feel like that but I went a full 3 months early in the year with no pain then it came back with a vengeance... Then they sent me for a scan and internal like your having tomorrow.... She told me everything was normal! But when I went to see my gyno he told me my right ovary was stuck to my uterus.... Thank you for my reply, I kind of wish I did have some pain for the scan because then they might see some cysts or some sign ? I hope they spot something because I know this pain will come back x

Endo is not normally visual on a scan so please don't feel disheartened if they don't find anything.... A lap will do the trick for a full detection

They say you can't see it on scan but i was told at my scan they could see it. I had a lap yesterday and they found endometriosis in the place the sonographer said it was x

There are times you can see it on an ultrasound, like in my case I had chocolate cysts which led the doctor to suspect endo. They have specific characteristics that make them look different from other cysts. On the other hand, you can have endo and have it not show up on an ultrasound.

Good morning, i went through agonising months of all the symptons, went for an internal and vaginal nothing came back with nothing but my doctor did warn me of that, the only way is a lap, I had been pain free for over a year after I had the coil fitted then my pains have come back again, I have an appointment next week, please don't feel dis heartned, push for what you think xxxx

Well I've been and they said I have a very healthy looking womb and ovaries, no lumps, bumps or cysts. :/

That wouldn't mean you don't have endo. Did they say what the next step is?

I had very large chocolate cysts which showed up on the both the belly scan and the internal. But it was only during my lap for the cyst removal that they saw all the endometriosis.
