Do I need to speak to my gynecologist before I try to conceive?

Hi all :)

I just wanted to know whether I should speak to my gynecologist before I try to conceive. My partner and I have been speaking about it a lot recently as I've said once I've had a child I want a full hysterectomy. I'm on the contraceptive patch at the moment (7 weeks on one off) to control my endo and have changed my diet radically which helps lessen my pains, I'm just a bit worried about coming off the patch and experiencing a lot of pain again. I have an appointment with the gyne consultant in December, as we said we would try in a couple of months, not immediately this is great, as if necessary I can bring it up with him then.

Hopefully someone can give me some advice :)
