Can I ask if anyone has tried either acupuncture or reflexology for endo pain. Ive been told my operation could be as much as 26 weeks and am trying to find ways of getting me through this time without being bed bound

Hi,

I tried acupuncture and I'm sorry to say it didn't help me at all.

Good luck with your operation, hope it works for you. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Sweety.

Hi. I have been having acupuncture but it hasn't seemed to help with the pain. It has however helped improve my sleep, energy and mental health which in turn has helped me cope with the pain better. Good luck x

I have a yoga teacher who does a very relaxing one on one session with me each week. I find it really helpful with relaxation and doing some gentle movement to get me moving within the limits of the pain.

I'd also recommend trying a TENS machine if you haven't already - I love mine!

my mum had endo, PCOS and chocolate cysts and the only thing that helped her was acupuncture. Unfortunately she couldnt keep up the costs and had to stop. Since then she had 3 blood transfusions and a full hysterectomy. It doesnt work for everyone but is worth a shot! Good luck xx
