Hey, so... I'm 16 and earlier today I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time.(I know I'm young but I guess it just happened.) So I'm on the birth control shot and ever since we did it, I've been bleeding from down there. I know I've heard that it happens to everyone for their first time, but it's heavy bleeding kinda like a period. Is this normal? Or did I mess up the birth control? I just need some answers please...

I bled for about a day or two after my first time.
I wouldn't get too worried right now but if you continue to bleed in a few days time it may be worth going to your GP or family planning clinic.
