Endo pain and medication

Hello ladies,

I was wondering what different pain medication people use to manage their endometriosis symptoms? My GP has not successfully recommended anything and I was wondering if I should be specifically asking her to prescribe me with something in particular?

Thanks

Karen

Hi hun.

I'm sorry that your current medication is helping with the pain.

What are you currently taking?

I think It really depends how bad the pain is?

I take Tramadol, codeine or cocodamol, tramadol knocks me sideways so I only take it if I'm really suffering.xx

Feminax Ultra is the only thing that's ever worked for me which you can buy over the counter but I have to take it as soon as I get a little niggle. If I wait for it to properly hurt, it's too late. I've only ever been prescribed Mefanemic Acid which does nothing for me x

I had menefenic acid until pharmacy had problems getting it. Usually take 30mg/500mg cocodamol & tramadol when I'm desperate as it makes me really ill.
