hi I was wondering if anyone had any kind of fact sheet that I could show my boss to explain symptoms etc from endo, my boss has been understanding but I feel they are starting to loose patience and im not very good at explaining the effect this awful disease has on someone, any help or advice would be very helpful thanks.

It looks like Endo UK are currently updating their Endometriosis in the workplace leaflet but I have a pdf of the old one if you would like it. I gave it to my boss and it really helped explain the condition in simple terms. If you PM me with your email address I'll send it over to you.

There are quite a lot of leaflets on this website. Some are being updated, but I'm sure if you email them, they'd have the old ones too....

I can understand you thinking that you need to explain your situation to your boss. For the past couple of years I have been off all the time with PMDD and being perimenopausal. I have been off work for the last month also, as I have been on Prostrap injections and livial and haven't been very well with it (though starting to feel a lot better now). I sometimes think I have to explain myself, but then, why should I and why should you have too. If you have a doctors sick note and have been signed off work, then that is enough for your employer and is all you need. They cannot question your illness anymore and if they are not happy they can write to your GP.
