Retroverted uterus moved without surgery - has anyone had this successfully moved forward without major surgery as my consultant would like to do this and I am told recovery could take weeks. I'm hoping for another solution in London ASAP? Thanks

Retroverted Uterus without surgery
I too have a retroverted uterus, which lies agaisnt my intestine. As I have a adenomyoma on the rear wall it causes inflammation and pain in that area. Ive never been offered surgery to move my uterus! Before I had symptoms of adenomyosis, it wasn't a huge issues (heavy, painful periods but onky for a few days. Now it's affecting me 24/7!
I recently had a session with a gynecological osteopath which has helped. And I've heard there are yogic exercises and other 'methods'which can help to move the the uterus forward, but I don't know much else about it.
Hi there, I have endo & am a yoga teacher. I'm also positive I have a tipped uterus. Had a few surgeries, but the only that drastically helped was a change in diet - vegaism & supplements & daily yoga.
check out Mayan abdominal massage:
arvigotherapy.com - theres a list of practitioners on there, you should find one - who can teach you a little routine.
Diet read endo key to nutition Dian mills book.
Supplements I take are lglutamine veggie version powder, sun warrior protein, raw reserve greens, floradix flora vital liquid.
Dvd I recommend is 15 min yoga by Louise grimes - it's v good. In small sections so easy to follow.
I stopped wearing heels along time ago, may a little wedge, that helped loads ( I was gutted tho!) And also learned basic kegel exercises ( in yoga there are called bandhas) Google them.
Hope this helps xxx
