TTC - before or after lap.

is it worth waiting until after my next lap before TTC? I worry that any pregnancy that may (unlikely) occur before a lap would have less chance of staying put compared to after my next lap.

Any thoughts ladies?

Are you booked in for your next lap? If it is soon then wait for it, however, if you say it as you have to have them regularly then don't wait. The only way that endo would have an impact on baby 'staying put' is that baby could be in the wrong place, ectopic pregnancy, if your tubes are heavily affected. If this was the case it wouldn't be improved by a lap anyway. Endometriosis affects your ability to fall pregnant, not stay pregnant. It's hard to believe but once you're pregnant you've beaten the endo, it's because baby grows in your womb and your womb is unaffected by endo that's the only place the tissue should be! I will admit it can be hard work being pregnant with endo if baby kicks your endo sites but it's only hard for you not baby. They will grow big strong and healthy regardless of your endo or pain good luck with trying to concieve, I hope ive reassured you. I know what you mean as I spent my first pregnancy so worried unnecessarily. She's perfect Xxx

Hi I was ttc before my second lap it was only after that we found out the endo had spread to my ovaries we were given till January this year to ttc naturally and it I am now 23 weeks pregnant with a little girl. It can be uncomfortable with things growing and stretching but it does no harm to baby. So just take a chance there is no harm in trying xx
