How quickly will endo come back.

Couple of months before I had laproscopy for endometriosis.

How quickly will it come back? I am TTC and waiting for IVF. Bit worried that it will come back during my waiting time.

Please advice.

I'm afraid I can't advise but I'm in exactly the same boat. I had my laparoscopy in January and am off the pill now but I'm worried it will return.

It seems like you go round in circles doesn't it? Take the pill to stop the endometriosis, stop taking it to try and conceive and worry it will return. Hopefully someone will be able to advise and put minds at rest.

Hi, if your endo was excise I think the reoccurrence is 1 in 4 so it might not come back. The usual advice after lap is to try to get pregnant on the first 6 to 12 months as you have better chances then. If you are worry about it it might worth talking to your doctor about your options. I am in a similar position, I had a lap in November and waiting for IVF and my consultant advice me to take prostap until I had the IVF treatment, I decided to do it as I was also told that my chances of getting pregnant naturally were very low x

Thanks.My tubes are fine and I can try naturally also.so that my ge reason they dint prescribe me anything.
