I'm new. And uncommon, apparently.

Hello everyone

Posting here as I can't find much about my endo online.

After a long, sore road, several scans and finally a biopsy, I've had it confirmed that the agonising lump just below my belly button is endometriosis. Everywhere else is clear apart from my stomach muscle.

Gynae consultant was surprised as she was worried it was 'something worse'. I was unsurprised as the pain follows my cycle every month.

Anyway, just wondered if anyone else out there has endometriosis on their stomach muscle? And/or has had treatment for this?

Thanks for reading.

Thanks for replying.

No lap. Very long story short, I had a full MRI after several internal and ultrasound scans. All showed up the 4x3cm lump. Initial thoughts were hernia or haematoma but reluctance to consider endo due to the location.

MRI ruled out hernia etc and and showed my pelvis was clear so they discounted endo as well and then fast tracked a biopsy as they were worried about the lump... Which turned out to be endometrial.

Gynae have now referred me for open surgery to get it out.

It's exhausting just thinking about it :/
