I had my laparoscopy and hysteroscopy on Monday 9th March, I didn't get the trapped wind /shoulder pain til the next day as I had a double dose of morphine (delayed all the after effects). I took wind-eeze capsules and it stopped it. I was told in advance by some colleagues at work who had had the procedure, it worker god them and me, so worth a try?

I had mine on tuesday, for shoulder pain i had my partner rub my forearm like i had banged it- worked brilliantly! Really worth trying! I had fallopian tubes removed as i'm breast cancer gene positive and was diagnosed with endo in the pouch of douglas, felt much better today but think insides r waking up to what was done. Hope u feel better.deffo reccomend windeze

Hi, sounds a bit mad but walking a bit round the house with someone and stopping and getting them to burp you like a baby does work! My husband did it for me and it worked a treat. Unfortunately he's not here with me at moment as I'm in hospital after 6.5hr excision surgery and they wouldn't let him stay! Best wishes

Sipping water, peppermint capsules and tea, hot water bottle or heat patches and keep moving! Important to walk for at least 10 mins and gradually build up.

Best of luck!

Try ginger tea or even better a couple of slices of fresh ginger in boiling water. Hope you feel better soon!

Exxx

Lie on your back with your knees bent up feet on floor. Rub tummy in clockwise direction and this moves the wind down through the bowel. Also lying in same position then press the small of your back into the bed, then arch lower back away from bed as your tip your pelvis forwards. This also moves wind through the bowel xx
