Hi there. It's frustrating isn't it. I have been told it is because your body is so busy fighting with the bleeding, tugging, growing endo and all it's symptoms that it saps the body's strength and energy and takes all our energy to try and cope and deal with it. I'm afraid I don't have any advice to help other than try not to over do things when you do feel "ok"..but I know that on those days we try and do as much as possible to counter the days can't. This is my usual downfall. Sorry can't be much help x

Same here, no advice, but I think the same thing. Constant pain for anyone is very tiresome both physically and mentally.

I noticed it coincides with bleeding too. I try to stay active and lately I've had a very long bleed, breakthrough I guess.

Anyway, working out is difficult, I'll also be sitting working and nodding off.

I wish I knew what to do as trying not to overkill coffee as its very bad for us and our endo. 😔

Hi there

Coffee and alcohol actually. There's lots of food that's bad for you and lots that's good.

Lately as my symptoms have become quite bad I've researched a lot. Check this link out explains it all:

I have constantly. I have so many bladder problems that I've been referred to urology to have a cystoscopy incase my endometriosis has spread to my bladder and such. I've had what I thought was about 7 or 8 "water infections" in about 9 month's which have all been completely antibiotic resistant! I think a lot of women with endometriosis have similar urinary problems! It's just awful!

You could try some iron tabs and magnesium

We feel tired because our body doesn't detox itself properly, thats how we got endo in the first place (either weak liver that doesn't process estrogen well, or bad gut, that doesn't expel the waste estrogen but reabsorbs the already processed estrogen. or both). Supplements can help with detox somewhat. I take Milk Thistle to strengthen the liver, calcium d-clucarate for the gut, and Pantothenic acid (b5) and l-methylfolate (b9) for the lack of energy. hope this helps x

Really! re-absorbs processed estrogen? good information to know.

I had stomach pain and burning since I was a little girl & at 15 had my 1st bladder infection then came urinary track infections. OBGYN didn't know what I had, but at 4 they thought cancer or leukemia Doc's were uncertain. Anyway, had ovarian cysts, Endo everything is out now excepts Endo is back for a 3rd time I'll be having a surgery.

That's grt thx, & I heard black strap, apple cider the mother vinegar both 2 daily is grt for the liver & gut. I'm going to look into mehtylfolate for energy that I grossly need daily living.

Hi sorry this is a bit grandmother sucking eggs, just double-checking you've had blood test for anaemia recently? If you're bleeding heavily each month can have cumulative effect as body may not be able to keep up.

Hi handbag67, no I haven't had any blood tests recently. I am having mri scan before major surgery. I have both rectroviginal endo and adenmyosis in constant pain, which doesn't help. And my doc has signed me off work for next 3 months as I'm so unwell. I will ask about blood test tho. Thank you xx

Also u could check your thyroid? I find exercising does help break thru the tiredness, u may not feel like it at the time but it does help me. Magnesium and iron tablets too are said to help with fatigue xx

Hi, thank you will ask my gp about thyroid. Unfortunately I can't take much exercise due to pain. But will get some vit b and magnesium tablets. Thanks xx

Just also jumping in to say if you are having bloods done, get them to check your Vit D levels also. I was diagnosed with very low Vit D after almost falling asleep at work. I felt so much more energetic once I had a prescription course of Vit D and get the level checked regularly.

I do think that the constant pain and in my case adhesions etc make you tired. I have learned to rest when I can and not overdo things. Just going for a nap now! I seem to need one at weekends when I'm recovering from the working week.
