Post laparoscopy blues

Hi there,

I had my laparoscopy last Friday. They found endo holding down my ovary. This is my second lap but this time around I have been very emotional and teary. Just wondering if this is common :s

I'm 4 weeks aftery lap and feeling very emotional this week! I was thinking it must be the hormones! 😢

Im 4 months post op and still feel the same. I think some of it is learning to deal with the findings sometimes as well as the hormones x

Hi, i was teary too, especially for a week or two afterwards. As well as the hormones and struggling with the findings, I've been told that the anaesthetic can make some people more emotional than usual for a while.

Oh my goodness... Had mine two weeks ago today and I've been a mess!! Literally in the last day been starting to feel a little less constantly on the verge of tears! Spoke to the nurse when my stitches came out and she said it's not uncommon... To be fair general anesthetics always seem to do this to me for at least a couple of weeks!
