Isn't it typical when your appointment is due the pain starts to ease, I've been off work for the last 5 weeks struggling to even walk, constant heat pads and codine. But hey presto ive started to feel better, I'm not complaining as I feel great (still aching, but nowhere near as much) I've not had any tablets so far today ( fingers crossed )

I have a gynaecolgy appointment on Friday and I know he won't take me as serious as he would have done maybe a few days ago. I feel like a phoney going in and telling him how bad I've been, that due to the pain ive nearly fainted 3 times, I can't walk, move, sleep, anything really. I'll go for my appointment and he won't believe me.

On the plus side, I do feel great. I just don't know how or why.

He won't think you are phoney, just go and tell him how it has been for you. I think for a lot of us we are often scared we won't be taken seriously and then left in pain again with inadequate help. It could be that because you know you have the appointment coming up your body is relaxing more because you feel you will have some help soon. It often happens like this. The mind is very powerful and the body listens to it more than we realise even when we are just imagining stuff. This is why they run placebo trials for new drug trials. Keep your appointment and tell him everything and trust yourself.

Good luck

Hi do still go and explain how you have been feeling . Mu felt Ok most if the time only really bad during period. When they did lap I had stage 4 endo 3 large fibroids and 6 inch cyst . So you never know what is going on in side your body . Not trying to scare you just saying don't play it down it may be your body as adjusted to things but it's always important to have it checked out . I ignored my monthly pain for years as nothing really !!!! Good luck and take care x
