Pelvic inflammatory disease post laparoscopy

Hi everyone. I had a lap done over a month ago now where they removed quite a bit of endo, unstuck my ovaries etc. Unfortunately I am still feeling absolutely shocking - low grade fever, headaches, nausea, lots of pelvic pain which is worse when I try to walk for 5 mins, low backache and pain on my right side. I have had no definitive results (bloods, urine) but I'm being treated for pelvic inflammatory disease. I am also having a scan tomorrow to check if anything else going on. Has anyone else been in this position post surgery? I am feeling very frustrated and also very poorly - thought I'd be back at work by now!

Thanks for your reply. 3 lots of antibiotics later (last lot for a urinary tract infection) and I'm feeling a lot better. It's been nearly 7 weeks since my op and I'm hoping to go back to work next week - long recovery! I hope you feel better soon too x
