Post Hysterectomy Pain

Anyone ever had surgery post hysterectomy with ovaries and tubes still intact? Did they find anything? How long were you w/o pain after hysterectomy?

I had a the op July 2013. I had booked 4 weeks off work, and went back in the 5th! I was in so much pain, I should have done the whole 6 weeks that I was told to.. But it was the best thing I have ever done, I have occasional endo pain now, but the pain is not unbearable as it used to be.

not to worry GayeB, it took months after my hysterectomy to be pain free, but I was and for a long time, I was referring more to relapses after a period of being out of the bush. Thanks for the replyGood luck to ya.

I had a total hysterectomy 3 days ago. They took everything as it was all stuck together and a complete mess in there. I'm hoping I don't get any more pain! Good luck to you x
