On Thursday I had a laparoscopy to remove endo from bowel bladder and other places during this op I also had vaginal endo removed. Since I got home I've had light vaginal bleeding but I've woke up this morning and it's like I'm having a proper period, does anyone know if this is normal?

The Dr. told me that I would bleed for some time after the surgery. They bang around in there with whatever tools they use, so it's like little tiny cuts and bruises. The blood has to go somewhere, so it goes out. And I am pretty sure the trauma of it all will mess up your cycle some.
I pretty much had a 'period' after my lap but it was like fresh bright blood. I think it's pretty normal just call your GP if it gets ridiculously heavy or lasts for longer than you'd expect of a period x
