Hi there

Yes I feel exactly like you do and Im also facing a 5th lap. I feel so nervous that I keep putting it off. Its either another lap or zoladex which I had before and my migraine was awful. I had alot of pain and constant diarrhoea my gynae did a scan and said she can see endo is back ..... Words we all dread. I have got into such a state. You think it would be easier as we had laps before but Im finding it harder as just had enough of all this. I already have mirena and top up pop pills and still mines come back. Is there any alternatives you can try rather than surgery? What doesnt help me is my gp told me not to have more surgery as it rarely relieves pain and causes scar tissue etc (true but not helpful when endo has flared and you dont know what to do) i honestly want to run and hide and have no more done to me yet know this will just get worse. hope my story helped you a bit xx

Hello,

I feel the same as both of you. I have my 5th one coming up in August and have also been told they cannot promise it will do anything for the pain.

I tried the injections but I too get really bad migraines and even after coming off it years ago I am left with 3-4 migraines a week. I now have to take an antiepileptic medication everyday called topamax that has some nasty side effects of its own.

The only options I really have left after this, is pain medication or a hysterectomy however I'm planning on sticking it out as long as possible ;-)
