Feeling low and nowhere to go.

Sorry to moan but feel so low tonight. Im suffering side effects from all angles and have reached a low day as still got usual endo pain. Im fed up. Im doing all I can to keep it together but its affecting my mental state. Im worried about work, money and relationship etc as well as dealing with this illness. Ive officially stopped periods after withdrawal bleed with first injection. Hormones are shutting down but im so touchy to deal with. Ive got bone pain, hot flushes, night sweats and migraines. Im lacking sleep, look like a zombie and just want to have a normal life again. Im in tears as so low. Sorry for long post . :-(

Lovely lady.... I'm completely with you.... The side effects are horrid and I've cancelled my second injection next week. You do not have to continue with the injections either!

My poor family are suffering with my mood swings. I have headaches, pain, bleeding and a horrible rash.

I can only wish you well and I'm sending you a massive and empathic hug.

Lots of love,

Barbara x

Thank you. I have considered not having any more but im trying to carry on with it.x

Hey,

I tried the injection years and years ago, even before endo was causing me all this grief. I took it purely for contraceptive purposes, and it made my life hell for the entire year I was on it. I felt like I didn't even know who I was.. really disconnected, and every woman I've talked to who had had it has said the same thing.

How long have you been on it? If its not suiting you, then maybe consider another form of hormone treatment? Cuddlybarb is right, you don't have to soldier on with it if its doing you no good.

Dealing with this pain is horrible and sometimes isolating, all of us ladies here can empathise with you fully. I'm sending big hugs too, try to stay positive my lovely x

This has helped me greatly ,iv only just been diagnosed with endometriosis im 34 , and have been weighing up my options ,and this option is now right at the bottom of the list lol .iv also suffered with the constipation and the pain omg sometimes its worse than labour lol my gp is now saying my depression iv had since a young age could all be connected .hope you feeling better today

I feel really weak today. Just haven't got the energy. Know this is part of zoladex but feel so useless. Thank you for all your support xx

I've been looking into the nuvaring, anyone here heard of it? I don't think it's much used in uk, but in usa and europe its been around for a while. It works the same as the Mirena coil, releases less hormones into your body than the pill or the injection but does the same job.

Its the zoladex thats causing me the bother I think. X
