You may have high nk (natural killer) cells in the blood street in your womb. I have them and most endo ladies who cannot conceive have them. Basically what they do is kill off a potential embryo from implanting mistaking it for a foreign object in the body just like it would hunt out a cancer cell or another cell that is trying to invade the body. In a way it is very good as the body,s defence mechanism is working properly but when you are ttc it is the worst thing ever. The nk cells try and remove the endo but because endo can only be removed surgically this in turn produces scar tissue and pain. The nk cells multiply in endo ladies and are high in number fighting anything 'foreign' in our bodies so an embryo which is half our partners DNA is killed off having no chance of survival or implanting. But not all endo ladies have these. Some have low immune systems and seem to catch everything going. I don't know why this is. If you look on the net at ttc with high nk cells there is loads of information on there. There are things that can be done to temporary lower the immune system to help you ttc. Basically endo = high immune system/high nk cells. No endo = normal immune system/normal nk cell activity. Hope this helps. X

Meant to say you can have a blood test for this but not available on NHS, surprise hey. They do them in some Ivf clinics, again privately. The NHS don't seem to want to help us properly with anything. X
