So upset I'm scared I'll vomit if I try to talk.

This week I got diagnosis after four years in complete agony due to sciatic endo, told I have a damaged kidney from it also have adenomyosis so need a hysterectomy.

Ok I kinda knew the hysterectomy was inevitable but was hoping to have a child first. I have been coping with that news by thinking at least I still have my career.

Today I have been told by my employer that they can no longer keep my position open and so am being dissmissed. How much can someone take in one week :( I'm single in rented accomodation I don't know how I will cope.

That's awful!! :-(

The best thing you can do right now- this day/tomorrow- is to talk to someone face2face. A family member, friend or doctor? If not, keep sharing on here.

I hope you feel happier soon :-)

I know the endo can make us feel more sad/depressed, understand that the intensity of your hurt will pass, as it could be hormonal as well as circumstantial.

It is easy for me to say there are other choices for you- but can you see other choices/options?? Would adoption be an option for the future? There are hundreds of children eager for a loving mother (I know this is an option for me- but not for every1)

And You can still concentrate on you're career- in the same field, just not the job you had. Or in a different field. My friend lost his job last year & it gave him the kick up the backside to Pursue his 'hobby'- photography- which he is now making a living from and is so much happier than before!!

I've recently had an operation to remove a large cyst (in fact they kept calling it a tumour- but it was the endo) & vast amounts of endo (apparently) & they also took out my left ovary & Fallopian tube,

so I slightly know where you're coming from with the fertility issues.

I'm a domestic violence survivor (the man got almost 7 years in prison) that was 10 yrs ago now- but basically saying I've also been through some pretty shitty times, & my advice is, things will get better, so much better, & you're never alone :-) xxxx

Hi I know exactly what ur going through was diagnoses 9 years ago at the age of 35 after suffering several miscarriages and sever pain since my teens had op to try and increase my fertility however no such luck and then tried ivf 4 times without success I craved for children so much it hurt just to see my friends and family have baby's and not realise how much of a miricale they are. You really need to talk to someone to share how your feeling my fertility clinic gave me counselling and it really helped are there are something's that are easier to talk to them about that I felt I couldn't share with my family and friends. You need to ask your consultant if you can have this as it does really help. I have been really lucky that I have a very supportive husband who seems to understand how I am feeling. Also if you ever need to have a moan or outburst there is always someone on here that will listen. My heart goes out to you x

Thank you so much girls for your replies, today I am in more of a deal with it kind of mood and have managed to tell my family now. I found out today the government will only help a single person to live in a room in shared accommodation!

Thought I should share this information. I've gone from uni shared accommodation to private rented, owned my own home with ex then back to private rented when we split and now back to the shared house by the looks of it. Thanks Endo!

Would any MP fancy living with strangers after living on their own for 4 years, especially if they were ill, I don't think so. Grrr so angry, to have my own place I'd have to live in a cardboard box.
