Has anyone experienced a sudden change in side effects during Zoladex treatment?

Following my third monthly injection (out of 6), the hot flushes I had previously experienced completely stopped and my pelvic pain worsened. I'm worried the injection didn't work properly or the nurse didn't inject it properly. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Yes! Although I am also on add back hrt with it. After my third month I got a whole new range of side effects like bloating, gas, sudden weight gain, bouts of nausea and massive headaches, dizziness. My pain came back too. Spotting every month about a week after the jab. Last month i spotted twice in the month. I dropped back my add back to every 2nd day and that didn't help. Only brought back the hot flushes. I've had my 5th jab recently and feel even worse! My Endo pain is well and truly back My gyno says I must be estrogen dominant which might be fighting the zoladex. Not doing anymore. I feel rotten and very depressed.

well not really so am going for a lap sub total hysterectomy, on advice of my consultant I too suffered sudden weight gain, severe insomnia, and bleeding too !!!!! Hope your situation improves hun xx

Hello, yes yes yes, I too was ok on the Zoladex injections until my third one and then suddenly suffered hot flushes, insomnia, feeling sick and dizzy at times and general overall tiredness!! I was then put on Livial to try and help this and only been on this just over a week so early days yet but has helped a bit i think with the hot flushes as only have them at night now I have another 3 injections to go along with the livial and then going for a lap hysterectomy but have yet to decide if I want a sub total or total and if I want ot keep my ovaries .....
