Help!!! I've recently come off and now got burning sensation
Where is the burning sensation?
When you pee -so inside the urethra...or burning around the outside lady bits - like nappy rash?
Or inside the vagina?
Different solutions apply depending on which bit is burning or dry.
I am going to take a stab at this being a dry external burning- in which case a tub of nappy cream called sudorcrem is the answer. Available in the nappy section of all supermarkets as well at the local chemists. Great stuff is calms the irritation down in a day or two. That type of nappy rash pain is from the acidic moisture held close to the lady bits when you are on, either just pants or from wearing towels or pant liners. Exactly the same as a baby gets when they have had a nappy on a bit too long. Sudocrem is fab at sorting that out and very cheap too. Apply 2 or 3 times a day - best topped up after you have been for a wee...if you are at home.
If it is inside the urethra from the bladder - then speak to the GP and get tested for a urinary tract infection - more common after a period as bugs thrive then.
If it is inside the vagina- 1st treat yourself for thrush - oral tablets or vaginal creams available for the chemist- if that doesn't resolve the issue - visit the GP.
Best of Luck......p.s. Sudocrem is so handy to have in the house anyway- if you haven't got a pot pick one up for a couple of quid. It lasts for ever.
If you are dry on the inside of the vagina, then you could ask the chemist for vaginal moisturisers. Some meds you might be taking can dry you out down below. These are not lubricants, though you could try that too when having sex. The moisturisers are for any time you want to give things a boost of hydration down below if you do feel too dry.
But if there is any chance of an STI- then pop to the GUM Clinic and get tested to rule out anything nasty too that may have caused it and its not something you have experienced before and are not on any meds that are known to dry you out.
The GnRH drugs Prostap and Zoladex etc are notorious for sending the libido down to zero and stopping natural lubrication for example.
Hey Hun only just seen ur reply. I think it was just thrush, as I just got a tablet from chemist as it's seems to ave cleared up, I also went to see my specialist on min and he examined me as I've just been booked in for 3rd or 4th op (give up counting after 1st) and he said everything was fine there
