Does anybody had procedure/laparoscopic surgery performed at BMI The Edgbaston hospital Birmingham or New Cross Hospital Wolverhampton ?

I have to chose one of these and I am wondering which one is better?

I had a laparoscopy at BMI Droitwich by Dr Pickrell. It went smoothly, they really looked after me and Dr Pickrell is amazing.

I am under New Cross and I have had a really good experience with them. I had a lap there in April, lovely staff, really nice and friendly. My Consultant is very good and straight to the point and allows me to have full input into what happens to me treatment wise. My understanding is that the top endo consultant at the BMI has been the top endo consultant at New Cross for years and he worked very hard at training the gynae staff at New Cross in endo to create an unofficial endo centre. So in my eyes the different between new cross and BMI is paying for a quicker service and actually being seen by the top consultant himself, If I had the money I would choose BMI but unfortunately I don't and I am comfortable and confident with New Cross instead. I had bad experiences at other hospitals so I travel now to get to New Cross. I will PM you my consultants name xx
