Had laprascopy 4 weeks ago still get sharp pains in one side

After laprascopy I am having sharp pains in one side I think they took appendix out that side and cysts am I kidding my self or something else xx

I'm still getting pains, mainly on my left side and its 7 weeks tomorrow that I had my lap. I've been backward and forward to my docs and they have now contacted the hospital where I had my op, still waiting to hear from them. I didn't think I would be getting pains like this now but I'm guessing until I see my consultant I won't know what's causing it. I know I'm not much help to you but just wanting to let you know you are not alone with pain weeks after your lap. Take care X

With my third lap I had a lot of sharp pains for several weeks, it isn't unusual but depends on where they operated and how much they had to do. However, did they really not tell you if they had removed your appendix? Or are you just saying it feels like something that major has happened? If it is the former, you really do need to find out!

Hi thanks for ur reply I feel better yes the dr told me he took my appendix out I have sharp pains just after a few days not every day just wondering y xx
