Endo and light period...does anyone know why that is? or have the same experience?

Hello,

after my 2 laps my periods have been very light, I've had periods that only last two days with a heavy flow and massive pain for around the first five hours and then extremely light with tad less period pain (the back pain is constant irrespective of mestrual flow) for the rest of that day and the day after. This is more likely to happen when I'm taking green tea capsules but I'm not sure if it's entirely only linked to that. I see that most endo women have heavy flow. It is not that I want a constant heavy flow but medium would be good because I keep thinking this is a bad sign fertility wise to bleed so little. I also keep thinking that most of the bleeding is going on in my pelvis. Does anyone have the same experience or can tell me why it is?

Hi I generally have period type pains for longer but my actual period has been between 2 or 3 days with one heavy day then normal. I have a small amount of blood in discharge before and after and blood clots. Many people do suffer with heavy periods but I have endo and don't so not everyone does. I don't know that it makes any difference to fertility so can't help answer that but just thought I'd let you know I'm the same x

Thanks for sharing Lilyflower, it´s good to know I'm not alone. I've started having mild period pain cramping couple of days before my period and then it is really bad for five or six hours after the period starts and then better after that.

I also have clots when I don't take green tea, when I take green tea capsules daily the blood is very thin and bright red. Not sure if it's a good thing or not but have stopped taking it anyways.

I never have as heavy periods always extremely light ones but really painful ...since having my laparoscopy I have had 1 period and only spotting since and that was april 2012...a little scary but your not alone...mines back so im going to the doctors to talk about infertility as a little scared about having no periods...xxx

I am facing endometriosis diagnosis, but have known within myself for two years that it's endo. Mention to your doctor or search yourself about Sciatic Endo. it involves pain in back, hip, and leg. its what I am sure I have. its in the area of Pouch of Douglas.

As for my menstrual flow, it's light, but long. I have 4 days light, sometimes scant, one day off then one more day of spotting. My pain begins a couple days before I ovulate. day of ovulation I am physically sick, trembling in pain until I pass out. eases a tiny bit then in full force a few days before my period, continuing til two days passed end o flow.

I have my ultrasound on Tuesday, with follow up on 25th. appointment with gyno once imaging reports are in. I really hope I have a quick diagnosis. I hope you can figure out answers and get the help you need.
