I have recently got married and just come off some hormone tablets to stop the pain and bleeding etc, i still have a arm implant in but this does nothing for the endo. I am worried as having more and more trouble with endo pains at the moment and currently waiting for a appointment with the hospital. I have tried all sorts of medication as well as the diet but really do not want to have the injections.
Me and my partner both want children but I am worried about when to have them???? Is it better to try sooner rather than later?? If anyone can give me some advice it would be great as cant stop thinking about this at the moment and having dreams that I am pregnant and then my bump goes away, it is mental torture. Does anyone else experience this?
Thanks

Unfortunately, the only people who can decide when the time is right for you to start trying for children are you and your husband. When I was diagnosed in 1992 I was told that if I didn't get pregnant in the next 6 months, I never would. I didn't fall pregnant in those six months, but in 1997, when I had changed husbands and thought all hope had gone, I fell pregnant completely naturally. (I'm not suggesting that you change husbands!!, only that even the experts aren't always right).
I sympathise with you about the dreams though - I unfortunately experienced recurrent miscarriages and during that time I would frequently dream that I was holding a baby in my arms and dropped it. It didn't take a genius to work out what was going on there.
Lots of talking ahead for the two of you, I think. I wish you well with it
Thank you for this, I know that there is never a right time. The dreams are just awful because it is heartbreaking, it is like i am trying to torture myself but you cant help what you dream sadly.
I think I will be talking alot more about it to him.
