Just having some silly thoughts in head thought i'd share and see if you guys can make sense of it....ok so I have got it into my head as the op is straight after my periods (this is when the symptoms have calmed down a bit for a couple of days) i feel as if nothing will show up.....
so i'm asking does it matter when the op is if the endo is there it should show up shouldn't it?????
please reply

My latest lap was scheduled while i was on my period, but...I got a bad cold and it was postponed a week later, so straight after my period. This was also my best days pain wise, but they found all endo and removed it.
So please dont worry, yes it is ideal for them to see the bleeding of endo spots, but this doesnt mean that endo disappears when you finished your period. xxx
Im 48 yrs old and have known i had Endo since i was 18, that is when i had my first op which was to cut and restraighten my tilted womb. Nobody realley explained back then what Endo was they judt told me i hsd that and akdo polsystic overies and that to be wsrned i may never have children. After 3 children, last one at 27. At the age of 28 i had a full Hysterectomy but leaving Overies. Now 48 i have had 1, 8cm cyst rupture in Oct 2012 and in April this yr they have found another 7cm cyst growing. On both occassions of operations when younger they could tell i had Endo it does move around and leaves spots or scar tissue. Im due another big Op sept 2013 for the removal of cyst and overies.
Please dont worry, they will find it.
I wish you all the best and hopefully become pain free.x
