Is anyone using LDN for their encephalitis, and if so, is it helping?

I used it for 2 or 3 years to help with my thyroid, actually. It did nothing. You need to have good opioid receptors, apparently; I'm one of those many people who doesn't. For example, opiates don't ease my pain at all, they just make me sleepy, which is an awful thing to learn when you're in labour and are now catatonic. So, I've heard of it as a miracle cure, but for me, it did nothing that I could discern. It was after I had had encephalitis, too, and I didn't notice anything change there, either

Hi Upland - there are many references to LDN through Google. I found patient reviews at drugs.com

drugs.com

but there are other sites too. The reviews seem 75% positive, for some it seems to be the perfect answer to their problems others report no improvement. It seems worth a try - good luck! G2
