Hi all

Does anyone suffer with atopic conjunctivitis aka giant papilliary conjunctivitis? I don't wear contact lenses which I've read is sometimes an issue, and I'm not aware of any particular allergy i have (although i do use a nasal spray for sinus problems). The consultant told me I'd probably not find out what I'm allergic to so I'm not sure if it's even worth trying to get tested, but it's been going on for over 2 years now. I'm currently using opatanol eye drops and cyclosporine ointment. Whilst my eyes aren't constantly watering anymore now, I can still see the spots on my lower lid.

If anyone has suffered with this, can you share your experience please?

Thanks

Hi I'm not sure if it's the same or not but my optician has recently told me I have allergy conjunctivitis. My lower lids are red and puffy, my eyes sting and burn can water and feel dry however now my body is becoming itchy no spots or rashes on my body. It's driving me insane

I think it's a similar allergy although mine only affected my eyes. The main thing that helped me was cleaning my eyes daily with boiled water (warm!). One eye has cleared up, but there are still lumps on the other. It's over 3 years now but my eyes are much better. Good luck.
