NHS Patients can now obtain Specially Sourced Allergen Free Medicines from Hard To Find Medicines. This is a service for patients with significant allergies to drug excipients (additives) for whom their GP feels specialist allergy sourcing is required, to indicate allergen free specialist sourcing is required the doctor should endorse each item "AFSP". The prescription should then be sent to Hard To Find Medicines, who will obtain the medicines and send back to you, usually within a week. Full details are available from their Website. This is a free NHS funded service open to all UK NHS patients.

EXCELLENT READING. Well done you and this is why sites like this are so vital as I've never ever heard of this service before. I'm going to see if my own doctor knows of it !!!
