Gel Treatment and suggestions on pain relief

Has anyone tried Phropain Gel Maximum Strength? I’ve tried numerous drugs, the most recent was amitriptyline and it wasn’t giving me any pain relief.

I do my very best to stay fit. With swimming and Yoga and my local gym has amazing equipment for wha I need. I try to eat healthy as much as I can and I’ve quit smoking.

Usually, I can manage the pain but it’s starting to get to me a little bit. Anything anyone can recommend?

Pacing activities. Not too much in one day. Take time to rest. That's the best pain management. Painkiller just take the edge of to allow you to do things but don't over do it. It takes more energy than the average person just to sit up with this condition that so.eone who does not have condition.

I agree with hamondsen.

I think phropain max is 10%? When i need a pain relief gel, i use ‘ibuleve max strength 10%’, eg even on 20mg amitriptyline nightly + 10mg prednisolone (+ my other luous meds) my hEDS soft tissue probs need all the help they can get, and for months now sacroiliac subluxatuons + flaring IBD-related sacroiliitis mean i’m rubbing a good blob of ibuleve on down there every morning before i do my physio.

I also use several orthotic aids all the time...these help a lot - everything from seat & lumbar wedges to finger splints, bespoke insoles, cervical collars, lumbar wraps..

I find heat helpful. I'm aware not everyone can get it, because it's not legal everywhere, but it should be. Medical cannabis is excellent pain relief. Make your own. Go to the cbd thread here for instruction, on how to... Hugs and love
