Low dose naltrexone for pain

Can I ask, anyone using LDN for pain, how do you get on with it and how did you get it? I can't take codeine or nsaids and paracetamol doesn't cut it. Haven't tried CBD oil yet. I have a very low BP and POTS/dysautomonia so my digestive system gives me lots of problems. I am OK if I can pace but sometimes that just is not possible and I am living less than half a life that way anyway. 😭I am hEDS, I don't dislocate but do subluxate. I am 55 just diagnosed, have osteopenia L3&4 and reduced bone density elsewhere. I am due to see physio at St John and St Elizabeth's hospital but I am in so much pain. The magnesium oil isn't helping and at the moment rest is not an option until next week. I am just so limited in how I can manage to live

I have heard of its use for other things, but not for pain control. It is something of a new treatment for pain, I think. I would be very interested in how efficient it is, and if anybody else is on it too.

It is used for fibromyalgia for quite some time

Ah - my ignorance! I didn't get diagnosed with fibro so haven't joined the boards for it or followed treatments. I can't take NSAIDS either, so would be very interested in something which is anti inflammatory, especially as I also have high blood pressure and diabetes.

If you have Sjogrens avoid LDN it has no use in the Sjogrens community.
