In 2017, the drug company whom makes Cialis, will loose its patent. Which is suppose to mean, Cialis is suppose to become OTC generic form. But as always, there are concerns with potential misuse in OTC generic form. In other words, don't count on it for many years to come. In my opinion, money talks, and the present company that makes Cialis does not want to loose this money maker.

Loughman, CIALUS is not going Generic anytime soon because the Drug companies are making BILLIONS of dollars all over the world on this drug. They are fucking us good for this drug. It is totally immoral.

Hi guys ,is the generic going to happen - at the minute - I was quoted £24 - 4 tablets , obviously this doesn't go far for something that only works half the time . My doctor only advised - halting the tablet

Loughman, I hope you are correct about that. Still... don't expect Cialus to be CHEAP even at generic... As they say in the south, "THEY ARE A FIXIN' TO MAKE A TON O' MONEY, even on the generic.

From what I understand, VIAGRA, which was introduced first, due to go off patent in this year, I think. BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN IT WILL BE OTC! At first the FDA licenses one generic drug manufacturer to make and sell a generic which is supposed to be equivalent, for a year, and after that I believe the field is wide open to other manufacturers. In economic terms, the price from Pfizer should come down somewhat during the first year and the first generic manufacturer will undercut that, but it will still be higher than when lots of generic equivalents are available .

IN THE MEANTIME, I have heard that there are reputable Canadian pharmacies which will sell brand-name Viagra at lower prices (i.e., because that's whT they sell for in Canada) or will source generic viagra from countries where it is allowed. The cost can be as low as $2 per 100 mg pill; in the US Viagra sells for north of $20 per pill! Our friends at Big Pharma have been busy!

BUT there is a wide range of Canadian "pharmacies". Don't do business with anybody not certified by Canadian regulators or anyone who says you don't need to give them a prescription.

One good one I have heRd some people (and some physicians) talk about is Planet Drugs. Planet Drugs gets their meds from various countries, like all of them, but I have heRd that their VIAGRA comes from the UK, which would sound better to me than countries much farther afield...! I am sure that there are others if you do your research.

Hope this is helpful. Do your research.
