Help with test results

Hello is there anyone in the uk (or anywhere) tell me what a creatinine level of 244 mol/L means - I cannot interpret it - also a serum urea level of 16.1 mmol/L means. I know they are both above limit but even if I could convert to the American system I would find it easier. Also the uti hasn't gone away and my doc prescribed amoxycillin - I have taken 2 and my mood has dropped so much. I have another prescription for cephalexin - should I hang on for those as I haven't had any problems with them. Thanks for reading

To convert umol to mg/dl (usa) you multiply by .0113 which would result in 2.75.Your urea level of 1.6 mmol is concerning. That is HIGH. To convert to mg/dl you multiply by 18 which would result in about 289 (very high). You need to review these results with your doctor. A normal mmol urea level should not be about 8 to 8.5 , you report yours is 16.1.

Thank you for your assistance. I might also add that I have a bad uti as well - would that skew the figures - thanks

Absolutely. It can change your blood test results. There was a study of a group of patients with UTI. See that 36% or those studied had abnormally high urea levels. AndThe most common abnormal blood test results in patients with UTI were the following: high erythrocytes sedimentation rate in 167 (83,5%), high C-reactive protein in 155 (77,5%), low serum level of haemoglobin and high urea in 72 (36%), and leukocytosis in 71 (35,5%) patients.
