I've received my latest GP blood results today and noticed that my urea is 2.2 (ref range 2.5-7.8).
I haven't yet been diagnosed with anything as I'm still undergoing tests and referrals but I've been unwell since December with shortness of breath, fatigue, palpitations to name but a few symptoms. I'd appreciate any advice please.
Not yet, my latest B12 result is 376 (Fridays result) the range is 197-771, I wasn't sure if to pursue it or not, I was taking-in the advice from people who replied, so I've been mulling it over.
I recently paid for an active B12 which was 123 (25.1-165.0)
What kind of diet are you following?
I just eat normal foods, like spag bol, quiche, chicken etc..

My gp's keep telling me everything is 'normal '!!!
Is urea the only thing low? What exactly is it? Do you see the doctor when you go or a Physician Assistant? Can you seek a second opinion?
I've been unwell since December, started with shortness of breath, palpitations, feeling faint, feeling really unwell, to name but a few symptoms. My other bloods aren't too bad, but thyroid levels are on the lower end but are in range a gp would say! The gp that has been mainly dealing with me thinks it's all in my head, very dismissive, in no rush to sort me out, despite me being an a&e nurse and desperately wanting my life back, it has no effect when I tell her how it's getting to me that the gp's try to pin me with 'anxiety'...they've stopped listening. I have one last hope in a different Dr that I spoke to last week (I phoned reception to ask a question on something and mentioned confidentially that I was worried about ringing as had been told to lessen contact, the receptionist was appalled and arranged a senior gp to ring me) he instantly referred me to Endocrinology urgently, just got to be patient as there's massive delays due to covid creating a three month backlog.
of course, Bunny, we all know that if they can't help us that means it's in our head. Pure science. lol. Sorry you are going through this. Hope your brilliant helper shows up soon. They're out there, just sometimes we have to sort through lots of dumbos first. Yeesh! Hugs and lots of good guidance to you!
