I have stage 4 kidney failure and dialyse for 4 hours 3 times a week at local hospital.

No restrictions in place so far. I get Hospital transport there and back.

Is this safe ? I am 77 year old female and currently in isolation except for going for treatment

I don't think you really have a choice Jean. We need dialysis to keep us well. The hospitals are doing all they can to help prevent the spread of the corona virus but obviously every time we leave our homes we are taking a risk.

I agree you don't have a choice? I travel to hospital for my dialysis three times a week in my car. The hospital has underground car park so my contact with outside world is minimal. Have you discussed this with ward manager or doctor? Stay safe.
