I have just been diagnosed with ckd and was wondering could it have been cause by my near death sepsis experience in 2014 (when my kidney's started to shut down) or my long term hypertension or the nsaids taken in the past for my osteoarthritis?

You should be consulting your Doctor. I have experienced kidney shut down and as far as I know it has had little effect on my stage 3 CKD. Hypertension and nsaids can have an effect on your kidneys. A medical professional can better advice you. You could google search for some answers but medical advice is best.
HI Karen.
The answer is YES to all of the above. All of those things COULD have caused kidney damage.
Try to get the hypertension under control and find something else to help with the arthritis.
