AJ: There are a lot of ways to improve your situation right now.
1. If you have Proteinuria & HBP, then you need to take those pills regularly such that it will stop protein leak, thus prevent further damage to your kidney.
2. Stay on a health, low fat, low sugar, low sodium diet. It is not easy, but if you persists, things will get better.
3. Ask your dietitian on what to eat, and how to balance the electrolytes. You need it.
4. CKD management requires persistence, though occasionally you may take things you liked to eat. One hamburger won't worse your health.
