Well I have started an herb. I will know if it's working around mid July when I get my labs done. I have seen reviews on it all with positive feedback so I'm hopeful. Prayers for you God can do anything

Sure. It's called Mutrakrichantak. Put out by planet Ayurveda. You can watch a video by the doctor and read reviews on website. Wasn't that expensive. Tastes horrible but if it works I can take the bad taste. Like I said, I haven't had labs done yet so I can't tell you first hand if it's working.

One of the interesting facts l picked up just recently was that not all of us get to the end point. It would be intetesting to know more about that and if there are any predictors for not reaching or reaching end point. Will try to find some good research papers when l get a bit of time.

Sadly, most people don't reach end stage renal disease because they die of heart related complications long before that. I found one encouraging article that read something like only 1 out of 100 patients with cdk actually reach end stage. I was so relieved. But then as always there was more to the story. It seems ckd put us at a very very grave risk for heart attacks and strokes. Statistically the stats are staggering. Some estimate that certain patients with ckd are almost 40 times more likely to suffer a massive stroke or heart attack. In fact, sadly, it seems almost inevitable.
